Big Block

I bought a wrecked '92 Chevy Tow Truck that made a good donor for many parts.
Namely the 454 engine and HydraBoost brake booster.

The Gen V Big Block arrives at its new home.

My daughter helps tear down the engine. She claims the Vette is hers

The 4 bolt block is in good shape.

Cylinders have no ridge at the top

Ready to go to the machine shop.

Original main bearings show normal wear.

Crank journals show very little wear.
